For Cineaste, I interviewed producer Jan Harlan about his experiences as a researcher for Stanley Kubrick’s unfinished biopic of Napoleon. I gave my top 10 lists on the best British Films and best contemporary works of art by Edward Hopper, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.

For Little White Lies, I interviewed Kate Guyonvarch, the Managing Director of Chaplin Office Paris, and Cecilia Cenciarelli about Charlie Chaplin’s digital archives.

I provided critiques on The Who’s Quadrophenia, Easy Rider and the career of Mae West.

My research on Charlie Chaplin has included a feature for The Culture Trip on Chaplin’s early life in the workhouse as I examined the plight of The Cinema Museum. I wrote about Chaplin’s triumphant return to the UK in 1921 for Discover Your Ancestors. As the co-editor of The People’s Movies, I reviewed The Real Charlie Chaplin. My writing has been promoted on the official website and social media pages of Charlie Chaplin, reaching out to more than 2.1 million readers worldwide. My research has also appeared in Charlie Chaplin’s official newsletter and has been approved by his children Jane and Eugene Chaplin.

For Variety, I spoke with the Managing Director and Producer of Voltage Films, Thomas Hamilton and Ron Mccloskey about their research on their documentary Boris Karloff: The Man Behind The Monster. The documentary features interviews with the late Christopher Plummer & Peter Bogdanovich, Academy award winners Guillermo Del Toro & Roger Corman, John Landis and Sara Karloff.

Boris Karloff: The Man Behind the Monster, was released by Shout! to US cinemas in September 2021 & was subsequently streamed by Shudder on Jan 26th 2022. It went on to win the Rondo Hatton award for best documentary.

For The People’s Movies, I spoke to Suzanne Lloyd, The C.E.O of Harold Lloyd Enterprises about her legendary grandfather.
